I believe the answer is: industrialization offered new methods of shipbuilding and the use of iron, steel, and chemicals for new weapons and growth of mass armies in europe

Because of industrialization, it is far easier for military department to obtain war weapons and vehicles on cheaper price and largest quantity. This lead to militarism which initially intended for national defense, but some countries such as Nazi germany used it for conquests.

Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

In raw votes, it was the largest popular-vote lead in history for a candidate who lost the election. The nature of the results has again stirred up debate about the merits of using the electoral college system.

Gnom [1K]
1. According to what I know. ROTC 100 years ago were strictly respected.
When you say ROTC, it means recruitment of members to act professionally like a military member. And all the members before gives their heart and whole dedication as a member of ROTC.
ROTC this days were adopted by universities as training for the students. However, students did not realize the value of it and take it unserious. They just thought that ROTC is just a school course and nothing to do with anything important.
