The reason why the renaissance movement is though and characterized in those terms is because the movement itself created a cultural shift in the mindset of people. Having increased the values that people later in the renaissance period cherished more, people from the renaissance movement itself were at the forefront of what was later known as the renaissance period.

Which of the following statements is true of both the Standard of Ur from the Royal Tombs at Ur and the Palette of King Narmer?
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": They celebrate military victory.

Explanation:

The Standard of Ur comes from the ancient Egyptian city of Ur, from the Early Dynastic Period (2900-2350 BC). It includes mosaic-elaborated scenes of war (prisoners being presented to the king) and peace both portrayed on each side of the wooden box. It is believed that the Standard of UR was created more than 4600 years ago.

The Narmer Palette dates from the 31st century BC. It portraits the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt by King Narmer (3150-3100 BC). The biggest picture of the palette shows Narmer holding a mace with one hand and with the other grabbing a prisoner's head who is about to be hit by the king.

Both ancient relics praise the military victory in battle.

The Gilded Age experienced significant economic and industrial growth, owing to technological advancements in transportation and manufacturing, which resulted in an increase in personal wealth, philanthropy, and immigration. Politics at this time was not just rife with corruption, but it also saw an upsurge in participation.
