The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The peace treaty heeded Wilson’s warning about "peace forced upon the loser.

United States President Woodrow Wilson wanted to establish a long-lasting peace agreement at the end of World War 1. That is why he came up with what was known as the "14 Points." It was his idea of peace in Europe. However, European superpowers such as France and Great Britain wanted retribution and demanded Germany to pay for the destruction caused during the war. More than peace, Western European countries wanted retribution. The Treaty of Paris was signed on June 28, 1919, in the famous Versailles Palace, close to Paris, France.

How might this front page help sell the newspaper? Why would such a story and title be a disservice to the people of New York?
Liula [17]

This newspaper claims that there is a $50,000 reward for something. This is a very convincing appeal, and people would likely buy the newspaper in order to discover how they can earn the reward. However, this is simply a trick to attract readers, as the reward is metaphorical. It is a device used to comment on how the Maine (a ship) was thought to have been destroyed by the Spanish.
