From the question given above, giving away prized possessions is the factor considered as a warning sign for suicide. Suicide is the act of killing oneself mostly due to depression or other mental illness. Most people who commit suicide demonstrate one or more warning signs which can be through their actions or what they say. Actions such as taking unnecessary dangerous risks, withdrawing from friends and family, losing interest in regular activities such as in school or work, and giving away beloved possessions can be signs to show that an individual is thinking of suicide.
