Answer:

The best answer to the question: How is an allegory different from a myth, would be: A: An allegory includes characters that represent moral and ethical qualities, while a myth provides explanation of elements in a culture.

Explanation:

An allegory is technically a literary device, most like a metaphor, whose intention is to present, through symbolism, deeper meanings and concepts that cannot be understood better unless these symbols are used. Maybe one area in which allegory is in religion, where texts are written in such a way that they come out full of symbolisms that represent concepts and ideas that are too deep and too broad to understand using any other means. Usually, allegories will have as a characteristic, characters that become the very representation of the moral and ethical values of a society. Myths, on the other hand, though they may use allegorical techniques, they are, essentially, narratives or stories that represent not only the underlying beliefs of a society regarding their oirigins, but also the justification for their cultural traditions and customs. This is why the best answer from all the ones here, is A.

It should be noted that an inference is the conclusion that can be deduced based on the information given in the story. The inference is the process of drawing a logical conclusion from observation and context. Most likely, you use inference frequently. For instance, if you observe someone eating a cuisine and they make a face, you can assume they do not like it.

Here, the inference that the readers can make from like 37 to 41 is that ships invaded his town.
