We can answer to that question by working through the options. The excerpt shows eating ethics in Elizabethan times. Option B is not correct. We can observe some etiquettes although they are limited. There is nothing related to sharing. Therefore, option C is incorrect. Similarly, we can not learn anything related to satisfaction or happiness. Answer D is not correct. The correct answer is A in which it is clearly described in the excerpt.

What is ironic about the ending of the poem "richard cory" by edwin arlington robinson? although cory is rich and of an elite cl
Lelechka [254]

Although Cory is rich and of an elite class, he kills himself because he is unhappy.

The poem begins describing Richard Cory as a rich gentleman. The speaker of the poem is one of the townspeople and he says, "we thought that he was everything to make us wish that we were in his place." This envy from the townspeople does not cost him his life. But it surprises the townspeople because they thought they wanted to be him, however, they do not want to be dead like Cory is at the end of the poem. It is ironic because his unhappiness is unexpected since he came across as though he was happy because of his money.

How do details such as "stone or metal," "many pigeons," "towers," and "wild cats that roam the god-roads" help establish settin
Digiron [165]

Answer:

The sense that nature has taken over a once-urban area.

Explanation:

Mythical kingdom is possible (<em>towers & god-roads) </em>but a small mythical kingdom doesn´t make sense to me.

A preindustrial society is said to be in harmony with nature.

The feeling of an ancient village is not provoked by towers; that word, together with stone or metal could show a once-urban area that has been taken over by nature (wild cats that roam... many pigeons)

Identify the appositive or appositive phrase in the sentence by putting it in brackets
mars1129 [50]

Answer:

1.  (a home run)

2. (the plants by the hill side)

Explanation:

An appositive or appositive phrase serves the function of replacing the noun in a sentence. It provides more information about the noun and can be found at the beginning, middle, or end of a sentence. Without the appositive, the meaning of the sentence will still be retained.

In the first sentence, the appositive, provides more information about the game winning hit. It was<em> a home run</em>. In the second sentence, <em>the plants by the hill side </em>offers further description of where the rose bush was situated.
