Answer: The definition of humanism is a belief that human needs and values are more important than religious beliefs, or the needs and desires of humans.

Explanation: it changed the way people viewed there lives and jobs, it showed them that they can move out of there social class, become a merchant instead of staying a pheasant. They learned that they can achieve a personal best.
