Well one of the most important thinge that this quote tells the reader about daisy is that she is extremely materialistic. If the reader has not yet picked up on that fact this quote is sure to give away that information. Daisy says this time very first time she visits Gatsby mansion. she is overwhelmed by everything that she sees and gatsby's room ( which is where she is when she says this quote) is the last place that he takes her to on the tour that he gives daisy of the mansion.

Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

behavioral; counterconditioning

Explanation:

Behavioral therapist: The behavioral therapist usually treat mental health disorders. They try to modify unhealthy and potentially self-destructive behaviors.

Counter-conditioning: The term counter-conditioning is also referred to as stimulus substitution. It is one of the parts of behavior analysis that conditions an unwanted response or behavior towards a stimulus into a desired or wanted response or behavior by associating positive actions or behaviors to the stimulus. It is based on the phenomenon of classical conditioning.

Example: In the question above, Dr. Olsen is trying to modify behavior by conditioning a new response that is incompatible with a previously learned, undesired response.

In the question above, Dr. Olsen is most likely a behavioral therapist who is using counter-conditioning.

Why is the US taking down confederate statues?
irinina [24]
For decades in the U.S., there have been isolated incidents of removal of Confederate monuments and memorials, although generally opposed in public opinion polls, and several U.S. States have passed laws over 115 years to hinder or prohibit further removals.

In the wake of the Charleston church shooting in June 2015, several municipalities in the United States removed monuments and memorials on public property dedicated to the Confederate States of America. The momentum accelerated in August 2017 after the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.[1][2][3] The removals were driven by the belief that the monuments glorify white supremacy and memorialize a government whose founding principle was the perpetuation and expansion of slavery.[4][5][6][7][8] Many of those who object to the removals, like President Trump, claim that the artifacts are part of the cultural heritage of the United States.[9]
