The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You forgot to include the options of the question. However, we can say the following.

A result of shorter workdays and fewer hours of work was leisure activities.

Shorter workdays meant fewer hours in the office or the workplace. This allowed people to have more time to spend it with family or friends. Some others invested their time in other activities like fitness, gym workout, or artistic activities such as music, painting, or dancing. Theses factors reactivated the entertainment industry such as movies, plays, musicals, amusement parks, circus, and more.

kvasek [131]

Answer:

(D) The game had been played since its inception with a rubber ball.

Explanation:

Considering the scenario described in the question above, the conclusion reached above depends on the assumptions that "The game had been played since its inception with a rubber ball."

Given that the conclusion stated that "the game must have originated sometime between approximately A.D. 1000 and Cortez’ arrival."

This implies that the pre-Columbian inhabitants of Mexico only began playing the game following the advent of using rubber to make its ball and not before.
