What was the purpose of Coolidge's economic plans?
stepan [7]

Answer:

To decrease the federal budget.

Explanation:

<u>President Calvin Coolidge was the president of the United States from 1923 to 1929</u> who was one of the few presidents who left office with less financial debt than he first started with. His policy of <u>"economy in government"</u> led to the economic boom in the United States.

His most important work as the president was to make sure that the economy did not unnecessarily burden the people but at the same time, cause no serious damage to the whole economy of the country. He presented an economic plan whereby he <u>reduced the taxes imposed on the common people and also reduce the budget of the federal government</u>. He strongly believed that cutting or reducing both were vital for the sustenance of the country's economy without imposing a massive risk or destruction to the people. Rather, he believed that those who had more income should have the opportunity to <u>"better business, more of the comforts of life, general economic improvement, a larger opportunity for education, and greater freedom for all the people"</u>.

What was the effect of the industrial revolution on the working class?
aalyn [17]

Aloha~! My name is Zalgo and I am here to help you out on this glorious day. The Industrial Revolution made it a bit easier for people to find jobs because all of these factory owners needed workers. But, the working conditions weren't the best during that. As all of the factories were being built, some businesses were in dire need of workers and considering a lot of workers needed jobs, it wasn't too hard to find some workers and workers were willing to work, so the employers could set the wages as low as they wanted.

I hope that this helps! :D

What is a benefit of a confederate government
balu736 [363]
A benefit of a confederate government is C. Several states can cooperate in matters of common concern and still retain their separate identities.

A confederate government derives its power from the state or provincial government resulting to a weak central authority. States under the confederation retain all the powers of an independent nation; powers such as the right to have its own military force, the right to print money, and the right to make treaties with other national powers without needing the approval of other states under the confederation.

Confederate states exerting their own powers weakened the central government which led to the founding fathers to shift into Federalism when they drafted the Constitution.
