True - you can add up a dotted eighth and a sixteenth note for the duration of one beat.

1 quarter note = 2 eighth notes = 4 sixteenth notes = 1 eighth note + 2 sixteenth notes = dotted eighth + 1 sixteenth

Extra: To combine an eighth note and sixteenth note you use a dotted eighth note.

Answer:

Explanation:A kicker is, at the most basic level, one that kicks. Unsurprisingly, it’s used mostly in sports contexts. It can also mean, in American informal English, “an unexpected or surprising remark, revelation, or set of circumstances,” as in “The real kicker came when the chairman announced that he was quitting.”
