Translated from indonesian to english: How technological progress can influence the determination of direction?

How technology affects direction is most often researched by sociologists and economists. Changes in technology can be determined in various ways, by an increased consumption in goods and services, by increased energy efficacy, or overall wealth of the society. But, more importantly, the scope is not as important as the type of consumption. Different is more important than more. Therefore, consumption of cultural goods - arts, music, books can also influence the type of direction in the way the society is heading.

A journey to the underworld
Sliva [168]

Answer: universal myth of the descent of the hero (ego) to the underworld (unconscious) to search something. In Greek mythology who descends is: Heracles, Orpheus, Odysseus, Menelaos and many other. They do not always return. The same myth appears in other mythologies. In Mezopotamian myth it is for example the goddess Innana. Christ himself descended into the underworld only to be resurrected. Descend into the underworld makes part of mystery religions (Eleusine mysteries).

Explanation: it is an image, a metaphor of re-birth, re-newal. So-called "katabasis". The same image appears in dreams and fantasies as well. This motive is very often used in art works.

Why do you think people choose to settle in area with abundant natural resources
nalin [4]
Natural resources can be extremely helpful. They not only help you to thrive and live, but they help the earth as well. By using the natural resources given to us, we don't have to use man made items to help us live, which will just pollute the world. Also natural resources are easier to come by and easier to use than man made resources.
