vazorg [7]

Answer:

The right answer is "Marked the end of the use of wooden warships powered by sails and wind."

Explanation:

One of the major developments of the Civil War (1861-1865) was the construction, use and proliferation of ironclad ships. There was also an increasing use of steam power, shell guns, rifled ordnance and screw propellers and other new technological acquisitions. All of this was a reflection of the rising role of technology in armaments.
