Answer:

Required ratio is 5:1

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given The ratio of the number of red markers to the number blue markers is 5:2. The ratio of the number of blue Markers to the number of green markers is 3:5.

We have to find the ratio of number of red markers  to the number of green markers.

\frac{\text{red markers}}{\text{blue markers}}=\frac{5}{2}

\frac{\text{blue Markers}}{\text{green markers}}=\frac{3}{5}

To find ratio of red to green marker we will do the following:

\frac{\text{red marker}}{\text{green marker}}=\frac{\frac{\text{red marker}}{\text{blue marker}}}{\frac{\text{blue marker}}{\text{green marker}}}

\frac{\text{red marker}}{\text{green marker}}=\frac{\frac{5}{2}}{\frac{3}{5}}=

\frac{\text{red marker}}{\text{green marker}}=\frac{5}{1}

Hence, the required ratio is  5:1

This can be solve by cancel of units

Snice red/ bkue = 5/2

And bkue/ green = 3/ 5

So red/ green = (red/ bkue) x( blue/ green)

Red/ green = (5/ 2) x (3/ 5)

Red / green = 3 /2

So the ratio of red is to green is 3: 2

What is 4x + 6 = 2½x + 12 ? <br> A. x = 4<br> B. x = 6<br> C. x = 13<br> D. x = -6
adell [148]
You need to get the x’s by themselves. Subtract the 6 making 4x=2 1/2x +6. Then subtract the 2 1/2x making 1 1/2x=6. Finally you need to do 6/1.5=x. I did 1.5 because it is the same as 1 and 1/2z your answer will be 4.

n^{2} +18^{2} =x^{2}

6^{2} +x^{2} =m^{2}

6^{2} +18^{2} +n^{2} =m^{2}

m^{2} =n^{2} +360

n^{2} +36=m^{2}

m=15
