I believe the correct answer is: Yes, the limitations of innate behavior are internal and environmental changes during development, throughout life.

Innate behavior (also referred to as Instinct) is the term used to describe “the inherent inclination of a living organism towards a particular complex behavior”, such as fixed action pattern (action to specific stimulus which is carried out without variations).
Innate behavior plays the lesser role with the growth of complexity of neural system. Complex neural system is responsible for cognitional and social learning (internal change) which are the limitation of innate behavior as an individual can recognize the starting point of innate action and simply stop doing it.
Environmental changes also have important role in limiting the innate behavior, and even more – shaping it. Michael McCollough, a positive psychologist, argues that environmental changes play a key role in human behaviors, such as forgiveness and revenge

Answer:

There are limitations related to innate behavior. Usually these limitations happen through changes in the environment which provoke some changes in the innate behavior of the individual.

Explanation:

Inborn behavior is behavior that is genetically determined in an organism and can be presented in response to a signal without prior experience, such as the knee reflex reflex tested by doctors and the sucking reflex of human babies, are innate behaviors very simple.

Sometimes environmental changes occur that impose limits on these behaviors and can hinder them.
