Heellllloooooo! :D

Let's start off with some basics.... remember that the formula for the area of a circle is **** A = πr² **** π approximately equal to 3.14

Now let's substitute in the radius that is given in for r...

A = πr²
A = (3.14)(4)²
A = (3.14)(16)
A = 50.24 cm²        <----- This is your answer! ^__^

Hope this helps! :D

Well first, we must remember the formula for the area of a circle.
The formula for the area of a circle is:
PiR^2, or Pi • R^2.
Basically this means 3.14 (Pi) • R • R (Radius).
We have our radius, 4, so we can plug in our numbers to solve.
3.14 • 4 • 4 is our formula, so let's solve.
4 • 4 = 16.
16 • 3.14 = 50.24.

Remember when we solve for the area, we use units squared (units^2).

Your answer is 50.24 cm^2.

I hope this helps!

Ok so pete lays 10 more than jim per hour

pete and jim laid same amount of tiles

j=jim's rate
p=pete's rate

6j=5p

but pete lays 10 tile per hour faster so
p=10+j

sub
6j=5(10+j)
6j=50+5j
minus 5j both sides
j=50

jim can lay at 50 tiles per hour

Hello!

The answer is:

Sin(A)=0.93

Why?

To solve the problem, remember to set your calculator in "degree mode"

So, we are given that the angle A is equal to 68°

So, we have that:

Sin(A)=Sin(68\°)=0.93

Hence, we have that:

Sin(A)=0.93

Have a nice day!
