Answer:

Germany got involved in the First World War.

Explanation:

Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assasinated in Sarajevo, Bosnia, in mid-1914. He was the heir of the Austria-Hungary´s throne.  Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia - it was a Russian ally - and because of its military alliance, Germany also had to declare war on Serbia and that put both powers in collision with Russia. In turn, Russia had an alliance with France. This system of alliances - and secret agreements - was a factor of the outbreak of WWI.

Why did George Washington want the United States to stay out of foreign wars?
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

George Washington believed that the nation did not need any allies and hence it must remain neutral in the war especially when the war is between France and Britain. Most of his cabinet members such as Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson were against the war.

George also wants to restore national unity and hence he wanted USA to be away from foreign agendas of other countries.
