Your peripheral nervous system includes the bunch of nerves outside your brain and nerves outside your spinal cord. Your central nervous system includes your actual spinal cord and brain.

One thing you could have done is sat down to breakfast. Your peripheral nervous system sent the information about what you smelled to your brain, and also sent nerves impulses to your brain to bend your legs. Your brain, which is in the central nervous system, can distinguish different smells.

The answer is true because this is essential when putting them in formulas so that the worksheet may be able to provide the values or find the values that are going to be calculated in the cell that has been provided.

g Two closely related species of plant (A and B) hybridize to form a new species (C). Species A is diploid and has 8 chromosomes
Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

allopolyploidy

Explanation:

Polyploidy is the condition by which a cell might have more than two chromosome sets that form homologous pairs. It might occur due to a failure or abnormality in cell division.

Autopolyploidy

Refer to a type of polyploidy in which an organism has more than two copies of homologous chromosomes. It results from the duplication of a group of chromosomes of the same species. Autopolyploid individuals have <u>at least three groups of homologous chromosomes</u>. Autopolyploidy is produced by the<u> gamete fusion of the same progenitor - same species</u>-, duplicating the number of chromosomes of diploid species. The autopolyploid cell has groups of homologous chromosomes. Autopolyploidy is produced mainly due to non-disjunction during meiosis.

Allopolyploidy

Refer to another type of polyploidy in which species have more than three sets of chromosomes in their cells. Allopolyploidy <u>occurs when two different species mate</u>, leading to the fusion of gametes that belong to different species and produce a new hybrid. The chromosomic complement has more than two copies of chromosomes. The hybrid is infertile with the parental species. The allopolyploid cells have chromosome groups that are not homologous.

In the exposed example two different species mate and produce a hybrid species.

Suppose a population is carrying a condition controlled by two alleles: R (dominant) and r (recessive). Only homozygous individu
White raven [17]

<span><u>The answer is A. 72.25 percent.</u>

The Hardy-Weinberg principle can be used:</span>

<em>p² + 2pq + q² = 1</em> and <em>p + q = 1</em>

where <em>p</em> and <em>q</em> are the frequencies of the alleles, and <em>p²</em>, <em>q²</em> and <em>2pq </em>are the frequencies of the genotypes.

<span>The <em>r</em> allele (<em>q</em>) is found in 15% of the population:
q = 15% = 15/100
Thus, q = </span><span>0.15

To calculate the <em>R</em> allele frequency (<em>p</em>), the formula p + q = 1 is used:
If p + q = 1, then p = 1 - q
p = 1 - 0.15
Thus, </span><span>p = 0.85

Knowing the frequency of the <em>R</em> allele (<em>p</em>), it is easy to determine the frequency of the RR genotype (p²):
p² = 0.85² = 0.7225

Expressed in percentage, p² = 72.25%.</span>
