By engaging in proxy wars, the United States and the Soviet Union were not able to avoid involving their own military forces because option C. No, both countries still fought in proxy wars but not directly against each other. A proxy war is a war fought between smaller countries that represent the interests of larger countries and are supported by those countries. The Korean War, the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War, were part of these proxy wars.

Why is churchill speech considered historically important
Andre45 [30]

The churchill speech was considered important because the speech was given when there was critical time in the history of the world.

Churchill speeches were being met with criticism which was from public of Britain and in the United States it was received in a better way.

Churchill believed that a speech can be powerful if vivid pictures and sound waves which bring about rapid succession.

Some of his speeches he said that he will fight on beaches, never despair. He told his people never despair despite what comes on their way.
