The right option is; A) gametes
Gametes are reproductive cells (male (sperm) or female (eggs)) that contain only half the usual number of chromosomes and unite during sexual reproduction to produce a new cell (zygote). The mutation for sickle cell anemia occurs in the woman’s gamete (eggs) and this type of mutation is known as germline mutation; a mutation that occur in the germ (reproductive) cells and can be passed on to an organism’s offspring.

Your question: Can the atmosphere change in its composition?
My answer: Our atmosphere is made up of many different gases. The most common gases are nitrogen, oxygen and argon. But, the exact amount of each gas is always changing.
Why is my answer correct? Good question! Allow me to explain: Tropical deforestation not only has a large impact on the carbon cycle and climate, but also affects the chemistry of the atmosphere. Together with the carbon cycle and weather patterns land use can affect the concentrations of greenhouse gases like methane and ozone.
Over a vast amount of time, millions of years, the earth gradually cooled. When the temperature dropped enough, water vapor condensed and went from a gas to liquid form. This created clouds. From these clouds, the oceans formed and the oceans absorbed a lot of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Changes in atmospheric composition and the rest of the climate system would include temperature, rainfall, and humidity, which would affect the economic importance, geographical distribution, and management of diseases effecting crop production.

Biodiversity is rapidly declining across the globe.
Explanation:
The biodiversity across the globe has been under heavy blow, especially in the past few hundred years. The main reason for this are the humans. The humans with their activities have managed to destroy the habitats in lot of places, which in turn resulted in sharp decline in biodiversity. Also, some species have been systemically killed off, some because they have been considered as pests, some because they were used as a food source.
- Naturally, the biodiversity tends to be at a sustainable level, while some species die out, other replace them.
- In the more recent history though, there is a mass extinction occurring because of the humans activities, not because of natural causes.
- With the growing human population the trend of destroying the environment continues and it will continue further in the future, with the biodiversity constantly going down and lot of species ending up being endangered or extinct.
