The first event was the sinking of merchant ships by Germany's U-boats.

The second event was Germany's letter to Mexico, asking Mexico to attack US in return for Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona back. The final event would be the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese.

The first two events caused US to join the allies in WW2.

The third event caused US to declare war on Japan. And because Japan had alliances with Germany, US got involved in WW2.

Explain the seasonal precipitation pattern in bangkok in terms of pressure and wind systems. what causes the summer rains? what
marysya [2.9K]

Bangkok, the capital of the Southeast Asian country of Thailand, is influenced by the monsoons, and they are the dominant climatic factor in this region and gives it its climatic patters.

There's two seasons, a wet one, and a dry one. The wet season is characterized by heavy rainfall for a prolonged period of time, and those rains are brought by the wet and warm monsoons coming from east. The dry season is characterized by prolonged period of time that is warm and dry, and that is caused by the dry monsoon winds coming from the west.

During the wet season, the air pressure is higher because the rain increases the weight of the air.

During the dry season, the air pressure is lower because of the high evaporation, and the water vapor is lighter than the air itself, thus causing the air to weigh less.

Compared to the surrounding material, mantle plumes rise toward Earth’s surface from the core-mantle
Anestetic [448]
Compared to the surrounding material, mantle plumes rise towards the Earth's surface from the core-mantle boundary because they are hotter and less dense (3) than the surrounding material.  A mantle plume is a large column of hot rock that rises through the earth's mantle. This plume is hot enough to cause the rocks in the lower lithosphere to melt. When the plume reaches the bottom of the lithosphere, it spreads out forming a mushroom shape cap. The lithosphere is then pushed up and stretched out. This forms magma chambers which feed the surrounding surface volcanos.
