Pacific Rim countries are those located in the border of the Pacific Ocean: <em>Australia, Malaysia, China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Laos, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. </em>

Two of the best advantages this countries experienced from globalization are:

Increased employment and economical opportunities

Governments in the Pacific Rim had made heavy investments in their people, they have invested in education and health systems that have provided an advantage for their workforce to be more prepared for the manufacturing jobs globalization has created.

Reduction of racial tensions and cultural barriers.

Across the Pacific Rim since rural people have found jobs in urban centers racial tensions have decreased, people move from one place to another so they also have been opened to engage and tolerate other cultures.
