Cortes was not worried at all about his authority to act in Mexico. He was given free reign in Mexico by the Spain crown, and he used its authority to justify all sort of measures in order to acquire and maintain control over the territories that were recent discovered. Cortes is still remember as one of the worst spanish conquistadores, because of its reputation and acts with the local people.
It was near a river which allowed many oppurtunities to gain resources from the water such as fish and to easily transport goods via waterways.
A.) Oregon is the territory that became the first state west of the Rocky Mountains due to its rapid increase in population during the mid 1800s.
In 1842 up to 1843, many settle in the Oregon country. Those settlers used the Oregon trail. The Oregon territory was officially organized in 1848. Population grew because of the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850 and many displaced natives were forced to settle in the reservations in Oregon. Oregon became a state in 1859.
The causes of the French Revolution are complex and are still debated among historians. Following the Seven Years' War and the American Revolution, the French government was deeply in debt. It attempted to restore its financial status through unpopular taxation schemes, which were heavily regressive. Leading up to the Revolution, years of bad harvests worsened by deregulation of the grain industry also inflamed popular resentment of the privileges enjoyed by the aristocracy and the Catholic clergy of the established church.
MAIN- Militerism, Alliance, Imperialism and Nationalism are the four aspects on which war starts. WW1 happens before the Great Depression so The Great Depression was the result of WW1. WW1 caused many economic problems that affected the civilians since they had to work harder and pay more so they could barely eat. Other countries were also affected as the country wasn’t producing more benefits. So the country couldn’t trade resulting in even more lost of money .
