Answer: (C) Plate movement

Explanation:

The plate movement is one of the major cause of the great rift valley as the geologists realize that rift valley was basically framed by the fierce underground powers that destroyed the world's outside layer.

These powers made enormous pieces of the outside layer sink between the parallel separation points and power up the liquid shake in volcanic emissions.

The great Rift Valley is mainly framed by a unique plate limit, where the Amur plate is gradually tearing away and it has been doing as such for around 25 million years.

Therefore, Option (C) is correct.

What is qualitative scientific research?

It is an approach whose scope focuses on understanding societal phenomena through the study of subjective aspects such as culture, behavior, place and time. The collection of data and information is usually done in a more comprehensive way, and interviews, case studies and analysis techniques can be carried out to understand the hypotheses.

Therefore, the use of a sketch map or illustrative material may be appropriate in conducting qualitative research in South Africa, in order to reduce communication and cultural barriers that may arise and imply the effectiveness of the research.
