The colonial army kept itself together with their spirit. They all have a goal, and that is to break away from the oppressive government that is Britain. Because of this, they were able to work together well, even though many of them had different believes. The turning point of the war may well be when the French decided to help the Americans. Because of this, the US were able to have sufficient strength to crush the British in the later battles.
