Mathematics

4 0

Answer:

y < \frac{3}{4} x + 0

Step-by-step explanation:

An inequality or equation for a graph is written in Y=MX +B form.

y and x are untouched while you need to do math to find M and B

M is the slope:

Slope is

\frac{rise}{run}

how much you rise from one point to the next and how much you run from one point to the next. this graph gives us 2 points. (0,0) and (4,3)

to go from the first coordinate to the next you need to go up by 3 and over by 4 so 3over4.

This gives us

y

We still have to find B.

B is the y intercept. What Y position does the graph cross the Y Axis.

in this case it is at 0

so we put a zero for b.

last step: In our inequality we don't know if y is greater than or less than our equation.

The shading is under the line so Y is less than.

If it's over Than Y is more than...

Also we know that Y is less than some thing but not equal to it because the inequality is drawn as a dotted line not a solid straight one.

in this case Y is less than 3/4X + 0

Aka

y < \frac{3}{4} x + 0

Expression when m=8 and n=7 n+6m
Andrews [41]
All you have to do is plug m and n into the equation:

n+6m

Since n=7, you'll get:

7+6m

And since m=8, you'll get:

7+6(8)

And by doing the order of operations (PEMDAS), you'll start off multiplying 6 and 8, which is 48, then add 7, which is 55.

Your answer should be 55!

Given the following two statements, what conclusion can be made? Three noncollinear points determine a plane. Points S, O, N are
laila [671]
Actually, this has little to do with mathematics and geometry but has to do more with logical reasoning. You have two clauses to get a conclusion from. The reasoning is as follows:

Clause 1: Three noncollinear points determine a plane
Clause 2: Points S, O, N are noncollinear
Conclusion: Therefore, points S, O and N form a plane.

Converting percent into decimals
blagie [28]
To convert a percent to a decimal, you move the the decimal left two places to convert the percent to a decimal. For example, if you were to convert 14% to a decimal, you move the decimal left two places so that 14% converted to a decimal would look something like this: 0.14
