A MacGuffin is that object in a film which is critical to the characters, but carries insignificant meaning for the audience.

A MacGuffin, a term introduced and widely used by Alfred Hitchcock is some element which drives the plot. The audience is not very concerned with the specifics of it.

What effect does the phrase bent double, like old beggars under sacks in stanza one have on the poem eight create a confused on
kvv77 [185]

Answer:

It creates a weary, yet sympathetic tone.

Explanation:

The line "Bent double, like old beggars under sacks" shows how the characters presented in the poem are tired with the activities and life they lead, however, the poem presents them as good people who are tired of being productive and looking for better progress what makes the reader sympathize with them. In this case, we can say that this sentence was written to create a tired tone, but also to generate the reader's sympathy.

JANUARY

Delightful display

Snowdrops bow their pure white heads

To the sun's glory.

FEBRUARY

Fresh green buds appear

Indicating spring will soon

Energize us all.

MARCH

Lambs gambol in fields

Frisky with the joys of life

Bleating happily.

APRIL

Bluebells stand so proud

Beneath trees so sparsely dressed

Fresh green leaves unfold.

MAY

Much awaited sound

Echoes heard amid dense trees

Cuckoo has arrived.

JUNE

Parks and gardens burst

With sounds and vibrant colours

Perfect harmony.

JULY

Beaches become full

Of families having fun

In sand and big waves.

AUGUST

Ripe golden harvest

Burning sun in azure skies

Labours rewarded.

SEPTEMBER

Swallows congregate

On telephone wires ready

To migrate down south.

OCTOBER

Red and gold leaves fall,

Crunchy as cornflakes beneath

Feet on a crisp morn.

NOVEMBER

Frosty webs sparkle

In the early morning sun

Brightly bejeweled.

DECEMBER

First few flakes of snow

Dust gardens like icing on

A chocolate cake.

Explanation:

Dear uncle,

I am very glad writing you this letter this blissful day.Upon hearing that your wife has given birth brought me great joy.I'm actually now having another cousin.Ill come around soon.

Uncle, the main reason for which I have taken the time to write you this letter is to ask you to help me by paying my fees.

Uncle I know this is kind of burdensome but what can I do.Theres no help from anyone.

Mummy's health continues to deteriorate. We buy her medications with the little money we come in touch with.

.......then added more reasons to convince him

like 2 more or 3 more

conclusion

Uncle,I hope with these reasons given you would love to help because I know you believe education is the hall mark of our family and you want a bright future for me.Well,I'm very sorry if this will cost you a lot

I promise to not let your efforts in helping me be in vain.

Yours faithfully,
