The accumulation of economical problem, social manifestations and the approval of the French constitution that stripped Louis XVI of almost all his power lead to the abolishment o the Monarchy.

Explanation:

In the first place, Louis XVI Inherited not only the crown, royal blood and status but also a lot of problems. The first of them was the critical economic condition France was experiencing, there were shortages of food and many other basic needs resources and services. The second one of them was that the Constitution approved by him took a lot of power out of his hands, this was good for government and society but bad for the Monarchy. Third, his ability to help solve the problems wasn't effective and in an attempt to preserve power he confabulated with foreign powers to counter the revolutionary groups. Nevertheless, they found out ad he was executed along with his wife.
