At 60° N latitude the dominant climate zones are the temperate climate zones. this climate zones are characteristic with having seasons, four of them, spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The temperatures vary significantly throughout the year, so there's a warm summer, and very cold winter, with spring and autumn being rainy and with moderate temperatures. This climate zones are almost totally lying on the Northern Hemisphere where there's much more land on this latitude, and a very small land areas in the Southern Hemisphere which is mostly dominated by ocean waters at this latitude.
