English

Kafka feared his father because he was emotionally abusive towards him, he was very careless about what he said about his own son in front of other people, often belittling him and at times humiliating him in front of others. They were very estranged, didn't speak as much, and it seemed to Franz that his father was very disappointed when it came to his son.

Because his father was loud, large, volatile and dominating.

Further Explanation:

Franz Kafka was a German-Speaking Bohemian novelist and he was known as one of the major figures in the field of literature of the 20th century. His work mostly features isolated protagonists which face bizarre or surrealistic predicaments. In the year 1919, He wrote a long letter to the person who he feared the most and that was his father. The name of his father was Herman Kafka who was a successful businessman in Prague.

In his letter which is 100 pages long and took two months to complete, he wrote that his childhood was filled with humiliations and he suffered regular beatings from his father and that too on very small issues. For instance, once when Franz Kafka was young, he whimpered continually for a drink of water but when his shouts had no effect, his dad stormed into the bedroom, grabbed Franz and startled him as well as shouted on him. He was always fearful of his father because he was dominating in nature and used to turn violently on very little things.

Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

Atticus was brought up to be racist. He was surrounded by racism from an early age and was taught that black people are somehow inferior to white people. Despite this, he "goes against his raising" by treating African Americans the same as he treats white people; with respect and dignity. This is uncommon for Maycomb, a small town in the South where racism runs rampant. Mrs. Dubose disapproves of Atticus's decision to defend Tom Robinson, claiming he is going against his upbringing.

Explanation:

I believe it's a satire writing about how we need others to survive. If we can't rely on the people around us, then we become just like savages, and also won't be able to find a good way to live.

I hope this helps!
