Answer:

The flowing water is defined as the flow of water over the surface of the earth per unit time. It also includes the flow of water under the earth's surface as groundwater. This flow of water takes place along a non-horizontal plane as water flows from a higher elevated area to a region of low elevated area.

on the other hand, rock flow refers to the flowing of the rocks. This takes place over the less dense layer of the asthenosphere where the rocks are generally solid in nature but they have the tendency to flow during the time of deformation. This allows the lithospheric plates to move over the asthenosphere layer because of the convection current that forms in the mantle. It is possible due to the supply of heat from the interior of the earth.

This is how rock flow differs from water flow.

If the ancestral form for a particular lineage was aquatic and used gills for respiration, what changes would you expect to see
Marat540 [252]

The Respiration of Gills

Explanation:

 • A dominant part of aquatic animals like fish and prawns inhale through uncommon organs called gills.
 • The skin that help in utilizing oxygen broke up in water. which help in return of gases and Gills contain veins.
 • Amphibian life forms have a unique organ called gills, which permits them to inhale oxygen in the water.
 • The two sides of the pharynx (throat) by the Gills when the gases exchange in fish .
 • Gills are tissues that resemble short strings, protein structures called fibers.
 • These fibers have numerous capacities including the exchange of particles and water, just as the trading of oxygen, carbon dioxide, acids and alkali.

How organisms do the process of cellular respiration
Yuki888 [10]
Respiration is the chemical reaction that break down nutrient molecules in living cells to release energy .
in humans and other living organisms except plants, our cells need energy ATP for muscle contraction and for cell division to repair damaged tissues and growth ,also for active transport which involves movement of molecules across a cell membrane against a concentration gradient.
