In general, the cargo. If there's a few boxes and barrels, then their trip would've been relatively short, as opposed to lots of boxes and barrels, which would indicate a longer trip.
Although, if the ship looks absolutely wrecked, the amount of cargo won't indicate the length of the trip, as extra cargo tends to be thrown off in a storm so as to lighten the boat.
Now, some specific things on the ship would show more details of the trip on that now-sunken ship would have been like.
For example, the amount of barrels containing gunpowder (not that it would've been
preserved; the water would've gotten in at some point) is indicative of their expectancy of pirates, or other ne'er-do-well's on the sea.
The crew's quarters (or lack thereof) would help to show how well (or not) they lived.
Another would be the things that wouldn't (or would) have been on the ship from their port of origin; treasure, etc. Maybe they have spices, or gold, or ceramics. This would show where the ship had been going (or coming from).

World War II officially began with hostilities between what two nations?
valentina_108 [34]
This is not an easy question. The obvious answer is between Germany and Poland. But there are facts below facts.  The key question really is when had Great Britain and France had enough?

Chamberlain did everything in his power to hold the peace. WWI was very costly for everyone. He did not want to go to war quickly. So Austria was a warning. Then Czechoslovakia which was even a bigger warning. Once the land grab  got inside Poland's borders, there were no more warnings. Britain and France were obligated to honor their treaty to defend Poland.

There are other pieces to the puzzle, but I think you were asked a straight forward question. The answer is in the first line of this answer.

4) why did both Italy and Japan feel resentment toward the terms of the Versailles Treaty and the outcome of WW1 ? EXPLAIN
Svetach [21]

Answer:

The Allies and Germany signed the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Under its harsh terms, Germany had to accept full responsibility for the conflict. It had to pay the Allies billions of dollars. It had to disarm completely and give up its overseas colonies and some territory in Europe.

The treaty also carved up the Austro-Hungarian and Russian Empires. It created some new nations and restored old ones. Border disputes, however, would lead to future conflicts.

Wilson was able to get his League of Nations included in the treaty. He believed that the League would correct any mistakes in the rest of the treaty. In the months after Wilson's stroke, opposition to the treaty grew. In March 1920, the Senate voted on the treaty with Lodge's changes. It rejected the Treaty of Versailles.

Wilson hoped the 1920 election would be a "great and solemn referendum" on the League. He even considered running for a third term. In the end, however, Wilson did not run. In 1921 the United States signed a separate peace treaty with each of the Central Powers. The United States never joined the League of Nations.
