For all of the triangles you have to use Sin, Cosin, or Tangent. Sin= opposite/hypotenuse, Cosin=adjacent/hypotenuse, and Tangent= opposite/adjacent.
Question 2-
You have the hypotenuse and you are trying to find the adjacent. Cos(35)=x/51
Multiply the 51 over and now you have 51Cos(35)=x. x=41.77m
Question 3-
Tan(30)= x/24. 24Tan(30)=x. x= 13.856m
Question 4-
Sin(70)=x/18. 18Sin(70)=x. x=16.9 m
Question 5-
Cos(60)= x/30. 30Cos(60)=x. x=15m
Question 6-
Tan(55)=x/6. 6Tan(55)=x. x= 8.568m

1. Explain how population pyramids could be used to analyze data at different scales. Provide an example.
Komok [63]

Following enlisted are the answers for the above mentioned question.

Explanation:

1. Population pyramids is graphical representation of data which enables oneself to distinguish and have a clear picture in minds about the ratio of population densities keeping any one parameter as constant. Population pyramids could be used to analyze data in many different scales on the basis of gender, age groups, race etc. Examples-having a record of no. of individuals in different age groups in India.

2. Generally, there are 3 types of population pyramid on the basis of shapes of the pyramid. Those are;

  • Expansive
  • Constrictive
  • Stable

Siting an example of age-sex pyramids,

In case of the Expansive, population pyramids show that the populations that have a larger number of persons in young age groups. The shape obtained hence is usually with high fertility rates with lower death rates

Then comes, Constrictive population pyramids. These are named so since they are constricted at the bottom. They undue a low percent of young people as compared with other age groups. These type of pyramids show decreasing birth rates.

And at last, Stationary also called as stable population pyramids are the ones which depicts almost equal proportion of the population in each of the all age groups. There is not a decrease or increase in population; it is stable.

What is the age of the universe and how do we know this?
patriot [66]

Answer:Astronomers estimate the age of the universe in two ways: 1) by looking for the oldest stars; and 2) by measuring the rate of expansion of the universe and extrapolating back to the Big Bang; just as crime detectives can trace the origin of a bullet from the holes in a wall.

100 points! This is for National Security...
kherson [118]
1 and 3 are correct, this is due to the fact that modern technology is constantly growing and other developed nations are feeling threatened or inferior when another developed nation grows further ahead. National security has also grown global, just the threat of a foreign country developing nuclear capability is enough for another country to launch missle strikes or other acts in order to quell the threat of another nuclear capable country. 2 is not correct because industrial strategies are being shared throughout the world constantly and the safety of a country no longer stands by their standing army or navy, but by the threat of nuclear capability or a possibility of retaliation through explosive nature. Even today, most wars are done through the army holding down a line, and the navy/airforce launching long ranged missile attacks of various nature.
