Answer:

Agreed

Explanation:

  • Plate tectonics is a term used to describe how the plates or slabs are formed as a result of faults and folds created within the earth surface and this term also used in describing how the earth was formed due to the impact of large solid objects from the outer space and the removal of gas due to the SolarWinds.
  • The mantel that is composed of three layers and the top of them being the asthenosphere on which Alfred Wegener gave evidence that the terrestrial plate floats freely on these with less resistance offered by SIMA.
  • The puzzle evidence also suggested by him was about the same theory that made the large supercontinents in existence and from which the later land masses broke off to form Pangea and Gondwanaland.
  • Later on much-studied were conducted in this tic to test its validity and found that the continents were truly displaced due to the spreading of the oceanic floors due to the mid-oceanic ridges and these accounts for 99% of the oceanic crustal masses. It was only possible through the deep exploration of the paleomagnetism and chain of rocks of various ages.

The Boxer Rebellion was a result of outside countries being involved, and controlling Japan.
padilas [110]
It’s true By the end of the 19th century, the Western powers and Japan had forced China’s ruling Qing dynasty to accept wide foreign control over the country’s economic affairs. In the Opium Wars (1839-42, 1856-60), popular rebellions and the Sino-Japanese War (1894-95), China had fought to resist the foreigners, but it lacked a modernized military and suffered millions of casualties.

If globes are better at showing the Earth accurately, why do we still use maps?
vredina [299]

Answer:

Even though globes are showing Earth more accurately, the maps are still used because they are more practical.

Explanation:

Earth is generally shown with two methods, one being the maps (map projections) and the other being globes. Both are used and will be used, as both have several advantages, but also several disadvantages. Despite globes being closer and more accurate in their representation of Earth, the maps are still used because they are much more practical.

The globes show Earth very close to its true form, though they are made as a ball, not as an ellipsoid. Anyhow, the globes don't have distortions of areas, so the sizes and locations are accurate on them. On the other hand, globes are highly impractical because of their shape, as they are don't often fit in standard backpacks or bags, and can easily be broken or damaged. Also, we can not see the entire Earth at any moment, so it is hard to make comparisons by using them.

The maps, on the other side, do have inaccuracies, mostly by having distortions, be it around the Equator or around the poles. Despite this, they have a relatively good accuracy that in most cases is enough for practical usage. Also, their form and weight make them easy to use, move from place to place, and the entire world can be seen at the same time, thus they are very practical when it comes to making comparisons.

What is the main type of tectonic plate boundary that exists along the edge of the north american plate near the coast of northe
Kitty [74]

Answer:

To the east, the North American plate shares the Mid-Atlantic Ridge with the Eurasian plate. This divergent margin, offset throughout by transform faults, began spreading approximately 180 Ma ago, opening the North Atlantic Ocean. Evidence of Mesozoic juvenile crust formation in New England can be correlated with the event.

Explanation:

The San Andreas transform boundary between the Pacific and North American plate originates from the shallow, oblique subduction by the North American plate of the Monterey microplate

The Monterey-Pacific ridge stopped spreading and Monterey accreted to the Pacific plate. As a result, the Pacific plate’s motion with respect to the North American rotated, transforming a network of shallow faults into dextral transform faults
