The humans need arable land in order to establish a successful inhabitable settlement.

Explanation:

The humans, as all other living creatures, have their basic needs. Can those basic needs be satisfied or not is directly connected as to where the humans are able to establish successful inhabitable settlements. There are two things that are the most basic ones and from which the establishment of settlements depends, those being:

  • arable land
  • freshwater

The arable land is a so important because it enables the production of food. If there is enough food, than the humans can exist, if not, then they can not exist and establish settlements. This is why the human settlements have been built in areas that have medium to good soils, as those are the ones that enable the development of agriculture. The other crucial factor is the freshwater supply. The freshwater is important because without it the humans can not survive, and also it is important because it is needed for irrigation of crops, thus it enables the production of food.

How does the rain shadow affect climate in Iran and turkey
slava [35]
The Zagros are a mountain range in Iran. Basically on the windward side of the range it'll be really wet and on the lee ward side it'll be dry probably even a desert. The warm moist air is forced up the mountain where the cooler temperatures at the top cause condensation so it rains. Dry on the other side. The main range in Turkey are called the Taurus mountains.

What are some interesting facts about the geosphere
yanalaym [24]
Here are some 5 facts I find interesting

-Some people use the term lithosphere to describe the geosphere. Depending on the definition of geosphere (which is debated by scientists), lithosphere can mean the same thing.

-The geosphere includes everything that looks like solid ground, including the ocean floors, sand in the deserts, rocks, mountains and every bit of land or formation on the continents.

-Aristotle, the Greek philosopher who lived from 384 - 322 BC, considered the geosphere to include the motion of earth, water, fire, and air

-There are eight major tectonic plates making up the earth's geosphere. They are constantly moving, but usually only a few centimeters each year,

-Scientific study related to the earth's geosphere can be broken down into specific disciplines including those covered in geology, geography, geochemistry, geomorphology, geophysics, glaciology, mineralogy, petrology, and volcanology.
