Answer

Adaptive behavior is a learned trait from outside influences that have an impact on how one lives their life. These traits may include habits and routines, or how one treats others. This is not to be confused with positive affect, which are emotions and personality traits, which could also be impacted by oneself or others, like adaptive behavior, but these trait are mostly psychological that impact your well-being.
