How did labor forces change in countries affected by the Industrial
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

D. Workers were able to work fewer hours while still earning enough

to support a family.

Explanation:

The Industrial Revolution occurred at a period when there was a shift from farming to industrialization during the late 1700s and early 1800s.

The American Industrial Revolution started some time later in the mid 1800s and heralded a change to mechanised agriculture.

Prior to this revolution, many Americans were farmers and lived in rural areas but with industrialization, people began to work for companies.

Although the work was harsh, the pay was good and workers worked lesser hours and made more money than they did before.

Compare and contrast ISTE standards and the UNESCO ICT-ICF
rjkz [21]

Explanation:

It is important to note that the ISTE standards as well as the UNESCO ICT policies are all founded by non-profit organizations, and aimed at improving student's computer learning capabilities.

However, in contrast to the ISTE standard, the UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) ICT International Competency Framework is made of policies drafted in other to help teachers in countries of the world efficiently disseminate ICT education to their students.

We also see a contrast in terms of their year of establishment, the ISTE (The International Society for Technology in Education) was founded in 1979, while UNESCO was established in 1945; which makes UNESCO the oldest organization.
