The Great Compromise made it so that all states have equal power in the Senate (by having two Senators from each state regardless of size) and power in the House of Representatives being based on population.
The Three-Fifths compromise also represented an issue between states. Slave states wanted slaves to count towards the population so they could have more representatives in Congress. Free states did not want slaves to count towards the population, as it would result in slave states having more power in Congress. This resulted in the Three-Fifths Compromise, as every five slaves counted as three people towards a states population and representation in Congress.
