Social Effects of the Great Depression, was the Optimism to Despair: The optimism disappeared almost overnight when the Wall Street crash on October 29, 1929, triggered the Great Depression starting the downward economic spiral that lead to bankruptcies, mass unemployment, homelessness, and despair.
<span>The Mohenjo-Daro is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. It was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and one of the world's earliest urban settlements. It was built at the same time as the civilizations of ancient Egypt. The architectural structures of both the Mohenjo-Daro and those of ancient Egypt are advanced. The way the Egyptian tombs were built proves that both ancient civilizations are comparable with modern civilization and architecture. </span>
