The Domino Theory was the political theory that if one nation fell to communist control then neighboring nations would also fall to communism.

This theory took a prominent significance between the 1950s and 1980s in the United States, during the peak period of Cold War. The theory was used by several US administrations to justify American intervention in the conflict with Soviet Union. The first US president to describe this theory was Dwight D. Eisenhower on April 7, 1954, when he referred to the spreading of communism in Indochina.

How do achievements in architecture in mohenjo-daro and in anceint egypt both reflect the process of state-building?
zubka84 [21]
The Mohenjo-Daro is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. It was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and one of the world's earliest urban settlements. It was built at the same time as the civilizations of ancient Egypt. The architectural structures of both the Mohenjo-Daro and those of ancient Egypt are advanced. The way the Egyptian tombs were built proves that both ancient civilizations are comparable with modern civilization and architecture.

These troops symbolized the most dramatic of the changes Louisiana witnessed during the war—the ending of slavery. In 1860, Louisiana possessed 331,726 slaves, which were 46.8 percent of the state's population (and 59 percent of the population outside of New Orleans). Emancipation came unevenly to the state.
