your have to be around 18 in CA to be married and they married when they were about 14-16

romeo and juliet wanted to get married but their parrents didn't want them to. These days it is your choice and in some cases, your parants have to put their chose into wheter or not that is the right person.\

But in the end the parent lost romeo and juliet and learned that is any of them are in troble or don't agree to help each other out and to make a safe desision.
