Answer: D.Germany and Japan

The "Four Freedoms" speech was the State of the Union address of 1941. Franklin D. Roosevelt outlines four freedoms that he believed all people in the world deserved: the freedom of expression, the freedom to worship God in their own way, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear. The speech was meant to increase support for the United States to take a strong interventionist role, and to stop the fascists regimes of Germany and Japan.

Could someone check my work?
Naily [24]
The answer is B. "He asked himself where it had come from and how; the past provided no explanation, and the future could not justify it."

This option is not a dark humor because it does not show the opposite side of happiness. The other choices explain that although there is happiness, he considered it as a burden- making it a dark humor.
