bascially i think when two people have answered ur question after some time an icon thats a crown will show up---u click on it and thats how ya mark an answer as brainliest
There is a yellow crown icon that is at the bottom of the answer that you press to mark someone brainliest. You can only do it if there are 2 answers or one answer was there for a long time though.
