An expository essay is like a research essay but the only difference is that you are providing evidence and you are including your point of view or argument on topic. To help you with your expository essay you could use:

  • Cause & Effect
  • Problem & Solution
  • Compare & Contrast
  • Or Examples.

* Hope this helps:) I tried to make my answer as simple as much as I could instead of COPYING from the internet. So just to let you know this not COPIED! IT'S IN MY OWN WORDS! :)

For which of the following situations would you double the final consonant in a base word before adding a suffix?
natali 33 [55]
The situation wherein you would double the final consonant in a base word before adding a suffix is option D. When the base word ends with consonant + vowel + consonant and the suffix begins with a vowel. For example: the word, "FAT" when we add the suffix -er and -est, it becomes "fatter" and "fattest". The letter "T" is doubled, then add the vowel suffix.

I think it's C. Heavy means the sigh was long, and obviously loud. Wind through a tomb is used as a metaphor that the sigh was lonely. Lonely means nobody is there, and nobody is there to hear wind go though a tomb, and anyone in the tomb can't hear, because, well, they're dead.
