It could over flow because the plants took in the water so the river is use to having a certain amount and since the plants aren't there any more to suck up the water, the level rises and goes over the edge

It affects the river flow, because since all of those trees are cut down, <span>there's nothing to hold the soil in place. And then, because of that, river banks will erode then causing the river to form a different shape. And when the river forms a different shape, it can cause the river pattern to change

Item 2Regional erosion occurs at a rate of 2 m per 1,000 years. How much regional erosion will occur over 100,000 years
Fiesta28 [93]

This is almost like a mixture of math and geography. If it erodes 2m per 1,000 years and it is asking for how much does it erode over 100,000 years, you multiply 2m by 100. In this case, it erodes 200m per 100,000 years, and 2m per 1,000 years.

Environmental factors that cause ill health
Over [174]

Answer:

Chemical pollution, air pollution, climate change, disease-causing microorganisms, abject health care, abysmal infrastructure, and inadequate water quality.

Explanation:

Different chemicals can impact human health in different ways, and often, exposure to dangerous or foreign substances creates health vulnerabilities. Air pollution describes any solid or liquid particles and gases suspended in the air and have harmful or poisonous effects. Climate change disrupts the natural world in several ways that can impede health and increase vulnerability to disease; these include increases in the planet’s temperature and more frequent heavy rains and runoff. Harmful microbes, which are more commonly called pathogens or germs, can infect humans and cause illness. Individuals who don’t have access to health care services like pharmaceuticals and dental care are at a higher risk for chronic conditions, including asthma, cancer, diabetes, or heart disease. Lack of local health care infrastructure, poorly maintained roads, and lack of access to clean drinking water impacts community health. Industrial waste and pollution, lack of access to proper water treatment and sanitation services, and outdated plumbing infrastructure contribute to poor water quality.

Why was it important that the harappans developed standardized weight and measures?
erik [133]

The Harappa’s system of standardized weights and measures signified advance technology and an advancing civilization in the Indus River Valley.  Remarkable accuracy in systems and tools of the Harappan people were demonstrated by fire-baked bricks which were consistently moisture resistant and uniformly sized.
