It could over flow because the plants took in the water so the river is use to having a certain amount and since the plants aren't there any more to suck up the water, the level rises and goes over the edge

It affects the river flow, because since all of those trees are cut down, there's nothing to hold the soil in place. And then, because of that, river banks will erode then causing the river to form a different shape. And when the river forms a different shape, it can cause the river pattern to change

What does the future look like for water supplies, and what energy challenges does desalination face as a solution? (Site 1)
dusya [7]

Global water supply is currently a troubling issue. The world's population size is steadily increasing, without the increase in water supply, leaving many to fear an impending shortage.

Freshwater is not evenly distributed across the globe and desalination of water is one solution put forth, but it also comes with its own challenges such as: being very expensive, requiring large amounts of energy, harsh impact on marine life, water being a commodity controlled by large corporations, and emissions having a harsh effect on environments.

Otrada [13]

Answer:

The sedimentary rock is a rock that has been made from other rocks that had existed in the Earth. The sedimentary rock has different layers of rock that can take form as gravel, stone, and maybe even a few gems inside.

Explanation:

The first step would be that the rock would be in liquid form, 2nd stage would be the sludge stage, which would contain both solids and liquids, then overtime, the sedimentary rock would form. The Sedimentary rock can also be made out of mud and sand that has been under countless pressure overtime. But you would be most able to find one near deserts, lakes, seas, and rivers. When a cold front approaches, air pressure will initially ________ due to the displacement and uplift of ________ air. Group of
klio [65]

When a cold front approaches, air pressure will initially decrease due to the displacement and uplift of warm air.

What is a cold front?

 • A cold front is the leading edge of a cooler mass of air at ground level that replaces a warmer mass of air and lies within a noticeable low-pressure trough.
 • It frequently originates behind an extratropical cyclone, along the leading edge of the storm's cold air advection pattern, also known as the cyclone's dry "conveyor belt" flow.

What is air pressure?

 • The air around you is heavy, and it pounds against everything it comes into contact with.
 • That pressure is known as atmospheric pressure, sometimes known as air pressure.
 • It is the force exerted by the air above a surface while gravity draws it to Earth.
 • A barometer is widely used to measure atmospheric pressure.

What happens when the cold front approaches?

 • When a cold front approaches, air pressure drops initially due to warm air displacement and uplift.

Therefore, when a cold front approaches, air pressure will initially decrease due to the displacement and uplift of warm air.
