Islam taught that men and women were equal spiritually, but had different roles. Islam promised salvation to all, male or female.

Explanation:

  • Declaration of faith,
  • daily prayer,
  • kindness for poor,
  • fast during ramadan,
  • pilgrimage to mucca and medina.

These are the teaching of Islam by Muhammad. Pillars of Islam, the five duties implied on every Muslim: the Muslim profession of faith, prayer, performed in a prescribed proper manner five times each day, namaz, the policy to help the poor and the needy,  fasting during the month of Ramadan and hajj, the holy visit to Mucca and Medina.
