I learned how to teach others ASL or sign language. I have been deaf for about 11 years and no one knows how to communicate with me. By teaching my family and friends ASL it helped us be able to talk more. I actually got to talk to my sister for the first time without her having to write anything down. Itś valuable because i felt like it brought us closer as a family and helped strengthen my friendships.
