In the case of Web sites, credibility is determined mainly by the author or domain, the source the Web sites use and the date of these,  if the information of a Website has not been updated is more likely to lack credibility as every day there are new advances in all areas and thus, Websites change or modify according to new information, this means the older a Website is, the less credible it is as the information could have changed due to new research or discoveries and be completely different from the one non-updated Websites shows.
