The Central American country of Belize, being located between Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, and covered with dense tropical rainforests, is a place where the wildlife is thriving, and lots of species of interesting wild animals can be seen in this country.

One of those animals is the black howler monkey. Being one of the largest monkeys in the New World, and having its characteristic howling as its trademark, it is one of the most attractive animals in the region. Unfortunately, because of poaching, this monkey's numbers have dropped down significantly. And because of that, a Baboon Sanctuary has been set up in order to protect the species, and maybe even try to return its populations as they once were.
