If you plot the points you will find you have to use the distance formula. Pick out 2 pairs label them (x1,y1) (x2,y2) then plug it into the distance formula. The repeat for the other sides. So you should get (2,5) (4,3) plug into distance formula what is get it distance between those two points, then (4,3) (-2,-1) plug into distance formula to get an answer, lastly (-2,-1) (2,5) plug in. Now you have three answers add all together and here is your perimeter of a triangle.

Answer:

B. 2, -0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the equation

-2x^2+2=-3x

Rewrite it as

-2x^2+3x+2=0

Graph the graph of the quadratic function y=-2x^2+3x+2

The grapg of this function is a parabola going downwards.

This parabola intersects the x-axis at points x = -0.5 and x = 2, so the solutions of the equation are x = -0.5 and x = 2

R, S, Q and P are the midpoints of OC, CB, BA and OA respectively.
Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw segment OB.

In triangle OBC, points R and S are the midpoints of sides OC and BC, respectively. That makes RS parallel to OB.

In triangle OBA, points P and Q are the midpoints of sides OA and BA, respectively. That makes PQ parallel to OB.

Since segments RS and PQ are parallel to segment OB, then RS and PQ are parallel to each other.

Triangle DEF, shown below, is reflected over the y-axis to form triangle D'E'F'. What are
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

(-6, -4).

Step-by-step explanation:

When you reflect coordinates over the y-axis, the x-coordinates remain the same, but the y-coordinates become their additive inverse.

The original coordinates for F are (6, -4).

The new coordinates for F would be F' (-6, -4).

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTION!!!!!!
mr Goodwill [35]

From the table, y varies directly as x. Therefore,  the constant of variation is k = 2 and y = 2x.

<h3>How to find a direct variation?</h3>

For direct variation,

y ∝ x

Therefore,

y = kx

where

  • k = constant of proportionality

Hence,

(-2, -4)

-4 = -2k

k = -4 / -2

k = 2

(-4, -8)

y = -4(2) = -8

Therefore,

k = 2 and y = 2x
