Novels, Songs, Short stories, and Poems all are narratives.

When the events are spoken or written they are said to be narratives. Narratives are stories which are narrated through literature.

Poems are written in verses which have music and tone. They have literary devices like meter, rhyme, alliteration, and imagery.

The novel is a type of narrative which is long, contains many major and minor characters who undergo changes.

Songs are the work of music which are sung by humans.
